About the Role
The Data and Platform team is the technology engine of Oxford Languages. Our purpose is to design and build quality curated data and data-related products meeting the needs of customers, internal and external users across the globe. We provide data services in more than 50 languages.
The Data Technical Product Owner Manager leads the transformation of OL product strategy into scalable technical delivery across multiple teams. Acting as a bridge between OL product management and OL data & systems engineering, this role owns the technical backlog, drives prioritization, and ensures that product features are delivered with precision, quality, and alignment to business goals. It plays a pivotal role in shaping delivery velocity, managing dependencies, and embedding best practices across the product lifecycle.
The Senior Technical Product Owner is accountable for strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that technical delivery supports long-term OL product evolution. It contributes to OL product roadmap refinement, technical documentation, and agile ceremonies, while also influencing ways of working across teams.
As a senior leader, this role coaches and mentors Technical Product Owners and Product Owners across the department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration in all functions of Oxford Languages.
