Overview
Join a dedicated care home team in Selby, York as a Care Assistant. You will need your own car if not local* and will receive weekly pay, flexible shifts, and genuine support from your consultant every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to residents.
* Assist with daily activities such as mobility, meals and emotional support.
* Monitor health and perform domestic and administrative duties.
* Maintain high standards of care delivery and support and mentor colleagues.
* Ensure residents' safety, dignity and well‑being at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant.
* Enhanced Adult DBS - dated within 3 years or on the update service.
* Available training certificates in First Aid, Mental Capacity Act, Moving & Handling, medication administration, Food Hygiene Level 1, IDDSI, health and safety, equality & diversity, fire safety, infection control, safeguarding adults Level 2, Information Governance.
