Overview
The Environment Agency is looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO). The PMO focuses on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. You will join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Transformation Team of the STA (Strategy, Transformation and Assurance) directorate, and help shape and optimise project portfolios by ensuring strategic alignment, enhancing decision-making, and providing evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This is a development-focused role with strong support from the team.
You will analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers, help set standards for benefits and value management, and assist in embedding them. You will help teams identify, value, and validate project benefits.

Experience / Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills; able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Commitment to diversity and inclusion and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Working Arrangements and Additional Information
* Hybrid working location; EA Office base with national scope.
* Some travel and overnight stays may be required. Smart tools are used to stay connected and reduce travel.
