People House Recruitment is supporting a children’s residential provider in Hartlepool with the recruitment of Therapeutic Child Care Workers. This role involves supporting young people who have experienced trauma and instability, providing consistent care within a structured and therapeutic residential environment. Contract Options Full-Time: 37 hours per week Part-Time: 25 hours per week Rota-based shifts including early shifts, late shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins Salary Unqualified: £24,454 (full-time equivalent) Level 3 Qualified: £26,070 (full-time equivalent) £40 per sleep-in Overtime paid at time and a half Responsibilities Supporting young people with their daily routines, education and activities Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour Building consistent and trusting relationships with young people Working as part of a supportive residential care team Requirements Full UK driving licence (essential) Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins and weekends Strong safeguarding values and emotional resilience Experience in care is welcomed, but attitude and reliability are key Training & Development Full induction and ongoing training provided Opportunity to work towards Level 4 Children’s Residential Childcare qualification
