Job Title: Senior Remedial Electrician
Location: Maidstone and Surrounding Areas
Salary/Rate: £46,000 - £65,000 per annum (including travel time)
Hours of Work: 45 hours per week + overtime guaranteed

We are seeking an experienced Senior Remedial Electrician to join a leading electrical compliance service provider, delivering professional and high-quality electrical inspection, testing, and remedial services to a range of prestigious commercial and industrial clients nationwide. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrician looking to take on a senior role within a forward-thinking and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Remedial Electrician:
Diagnose, assess, and rectify faults in both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
Carry out remedial works and minor electrical repairs across LV installations.
Assess and manage parts and equipment required for task completion.
Liaise with supervisors to align with maintenance schedules and ensure efficient reporting.
Follow all health and safety procedures and current electrical regulations.
Accurately complete documentation, including reporting via CRM systems (training provided).
Deliver work both independently and as part of a team.
Communicate effectively with clients, delivering a high standard of customer service.
Ensure minimal disruption to client operations while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Participate in flexible working hours, including occasional weekend and overnight work.
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven experience in fault diagnosis and first-time fixes in commercial/industrial settings.
Strong background in electrical remedial works and minor installations.
Competent in using IT/CRM systems (or willingness to learn).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.
Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
Essential Qualifications:
Recognised electrical apprenticeship in contracting, maintenance, or equivalent.
IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent in inspection and testing (preferred).
Valid CSCS Safety Passport or equivalent H&S card.
Desirable Qualifications:
IPAF (Powered Access Licence)
PASMA (Mobile Access Towers)
First Aid Certification
