About the role
Join FIDO Tech as a Full Stack Software Engineer and contribute to the cutting-edgevRelay IoT project. You’ll build systems that seamlessly connect backend services to user interfaces while ensuring robust integration with IoT devices and firmware. Whether leveraging Azure IoT Hub or CoIoTe, your work will drive the scalability and performance of our IoT solutions.
Responsibilities
* Develop high-performance backend services with Python, Kafka, and FastAPI.
* Build responsive and dynamic frontends using TypeScript or similar
frameworks.
* Ensure smooth data flow from IoT devices to dashboards, enabling effective visualization of PSD, audio, and metadata.
* Collaborate on cloud integrations, with experience in either Azure IoT Hub or CoIoTe device management.
* Design and implement scalable microservices architectures to handle high volumes of IoT data in near real-time.
* Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Qualifications:
* Strong experience with backend technologies, including Python, Kafka, and FastAPI.
* Proficiency in frontend development using TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks.
* Hands-on experience with Azure IoT Hub or CoIoTe device management platforms.
* Knowledge of scalable caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) and database
solutions like MySQL and MongoDB.
* Familiarity with cloud reporting tools such as Power BI for creating insightful dashboards.
* Collaborative problem-solving skills in an Agile environment.
