Role Summary: We are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in London. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional seeking to develop their career in FP&A and Commercial Finance, gaining broad exposure in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, insightful financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making, while working closely with commercial and operational teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain regular reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance, including: -Monthly P&L reporting -KPIs and departmental spend analysis -Client revenue and gross margin analysis Perform sales and revenue analytics to improve understanding of business line and customer performance Summarise and present financial findings to senior leadership in a clear and actionable way Conduct ad hoc analysis of operational and financial datasets to support planning and decision-making Develop and build reports in finance systems (experience with SAGE Intacct and Datarails preferred) Act as a business partner to commercial and operational teams, helping them interpret financial performance and drive informed decisions Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and add value through enhanced analysis About You: Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to translate financial data for non-financial colleagues Proactive and organised, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills Experienced in Excel and comfortable learning new finance systems Working knowledge of the three financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Typically 3 years of experience in a finance or commercial finance environment Ideally seeking a career in FP&A / Commercial Finance and eager to develop in a private equity environment London-based, with the ability to work in the office 3 days per week Additional Requirements: Self-starter with a 'starter-finisher' mindset, capable of seeing tasks through to completion Highly organised, adaptable, and solution-oriented Previous experience with financial systems preferred
