Pay and hours
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; there are also opportunities to work fewer hours (minimum 12) if preferred.

* Be a colleague in-store to help serve shoppers and contribute to a specialist, diverse team
* Meet customers, learn about products and services, and support a welcoming store environment
* Work across service, picking, and replenishment as required
* Follow training to work safely and deliver brilliant service
* Make decisions that meet customer needs and align with store routines
* Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events
* Understand store performance and your role in driving service, sales, waste reduction, and profit
* Handle products with care to maintain quality
* Represent Tesco values and policies and be welcoming to all
* Occasionally accept deliveries into the store
