Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for ensuring employees receive the correct compensation in a timely manner. You will ensure that payments amounts to external organisations, such as tax offices, health providers, government bodies are accurate, and the information is provided to accounts in a timely manner.\n\nThe Role:\n\n• Maintain UK, Ireland and South Africa payroll in an accurate and lawful manner\n\n• Create & Maintain all Payroll information spread sheets and report details as required\n\n• Deal with queries from external bodies, i.e. HMRC, DWP, SARS, Irish Revenue\n\n• End of year process i.e.
P11Ds, P60’s\n\n• Maintain holiday records\n\n• Maintain and update sickness records\n\n• Maintain Company Private Medical Insurance Schemes\n\n• Maintain Company Pension Scheme\n\n• Maintain Death in Service Scheme\n\n• Create new starter files\n\n• Complete Reference checks for new starters, responsible for completing incoming\n\nreferences\n\n• Maintain any other countries payroll, that may be introduced in an accurate and lawful\n\nmanner\n\n• Company car and fuel payroll management, P46 cars, Fuel deduction, Environment fuel\n\nreports\n\n• PAYE settlement agreement payments\n\n• Self-Assessment for overseas Colleagues (Trusted Person with HMRC)\n\n• Ad hoc tax support for employees\n\n• Prepare, manage updates of payroll systems\n\n• Manage HR/payroll systems - Benefit platform, HRIS\n\n• To maintain an organised payroll archive system and adhere to legal requirements\n\n• Attend meetings and training as required\n\n• To keep the rest of the team up to-date with changes in payroll compliance\n\n• Make recommendations to payroll processes and continually review workflows and\n\nproducts to make continuous improvements and cost savings\n\nHR Administration Support\n\nInput training data to HRIS and create reports\n\nTo Assist with Company Housing\n\nIssue eye tests vouchers for employees in line with Company Policy\n\nCollect and distribute post to HR employees\n\nTo be responsible for stock & order of office stationery\n\nCompany Support\n\nSupport the SMT with budget figures, ad hoc reports\n\nComplete salary surveys\n\nBe part of the Company internal auditing team up to 2 small audits a year\n\nDue to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
