An excellent opportunity has arisen on the project for an experienced Land Surveyor to work within an established, multi-disciplinary delivery project setting. Based at the Sellafield Site, the Surveyor will work in a strong team required to Undertake survey duties as assigned by the Lead Surveyor to prioritise demand on the project Take responsibility for surveying and setting out complex systems, including Civil, Mechanical and Piping Equipment Undertake and record as-built positional checks for the works Office processing of survey data to produce CAD drawing and survey reports Provide technical support to the project as subject matter expert Coach, mentor and develop less experienced surveyors / engineers to teach practicable survey / best practice techniques for setting out Ensure project quality assurance processes are fully complied with Relentlessly focus on safety to ensure a Zero Harm environment Essential Experience & Qualifications: The role requires an individual experienced in surveying and set-out of complex large projects and must be Degree or HND qualified in the field of Surveying Able to individually undertake a wide variety of surveys, measurements and Laser Scanning operations using modern surveying equipment and processing software Reliable, prepared to carry his own equipment, work alone while paying attention to detail in a busy environment.
