We are looking for a Band 5 Registered nurse who demonstrates passion and ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients.
Overview
The Ambulatory Clinic team supports Staffordshire across Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth, delivering care to ambulatory patients in a 7-day service. The role requires travel over a large geographical area, which could include clinics in East Staffordshire; a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
* Deliver complex wound care, catheter care, management of line care, venepuncture, and patient education across several locations to ambulatory patients
* Lead on MDT clinics, where we proactively manage patient care
* Liaise with the wider MDT including DN's, Podiatrists, TVN, Heart Failure and Vascular Nurses, SPHT
* Collaborate with Nursing teams and AHPs (Podiatry, Physio, Falls Team, Stroke and Rehab) to ensure patient-centred care and a living model of care
* Support leadership, innovation, prevention and implementation of care aligned with MPFT values and behaviours
* Contribute to staff development and collaborate with local universities to grow future leaders
* Commit to professional development and a culture of continuous improvement
* Work flexibly in a 7-day service and manage day-to-day tasks, including delegation to junior colleagues
Qualifications
* Band 5 NMC Registered Nurse
* Strong communication and organisational skills with a flexible approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Desire to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with the Trust's vision and values
