We’re looking for an Apprenticeship Quality and Compliance Manager to help us take our provision to the next level. Reporting to the Leadership & Talent Manager, you’ll lead the way in ensuring our programmes meet and exceed all DfE, OFSTED, and Awarding Organisation (AO) standards. You’ll manage and continuously improve our quality processes, making sure every apprentice achieves outstanding outcomes that meet both internal and external expectations. You’ll also be our Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety, welfare, and success of every apprentice. Key responsibilities Manage and continually review the internal quality cycle process including quality standards, policies, procedures, and action plans, ensuring compliance with apprenticeship sector requirements. Develop, manage and monitor the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and any associated activities. Manage sampling and verification activities to improve the progression and achievement of learners and ensure consistency across the apprenticeship team. Ensure we are continually meeting the requirements of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework and implement any improvements and enhancements as required. Manage and enhance compliance with DfE contract funding rules implementing best practices across relevant processes. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and manage, audit and review our safeguarding processes, policies, action plans, Prevent risk assessment and associated activities. Drive outstanding performance by monitoring provision against Key Performance Indicators, ensuring compliance to quality requirements, and reporting on progress and outcomes. Manage quality and standardisation activities through the Quality Assurance Specialist and in partnership with the Apprentice Programme Manager. Provide a strong analytical approach to pinpoint potential performance concerns, their causes and potential interventions to address them. Conduct appropriate compliance internal audits on a regular (minimum quarterly) and ad hoc basis. Work closely with the Apprenticeship Programme Manager to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Manage the Apprenticeship Quality Assurance and Compliance team ensuring our apprenticeship quality and data is accurate, timely and compliant and opportunities are identified to continually improve and enhance our provision. Required Skills & Experience Must have an Assessing and IQA qualification i.e., V1/A1. Must have a Safeguarding qualification. Experience in working with external bodies and managing quality improvements in apprenticeships and/ or training and education sector. Demonstrable experience in leading external quality assurance visits from an awarding body or OFSTED. Experience in identifying and managing process improvements in a learning and/ or qualification environment.
