We are seeking a motivated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a secondary school team on an ongoing long-term temporary basis, starting as soon as possible and potentially continuing until the end of the academic year.
This school was rated "Good" by Ofsted in its last inspection, and the students are at the heart of they do. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping pupils develop strong mathematical skills and confidence while contributing to an inclusive environment where students feel safe and ready to learn.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
* Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Monitor, assess and report on student progress and attainment.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning for all pupils.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support each child’s development.
Ideal Maths Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent qualification is essential.
* Recent experience teaching Mathematics in a mainstream Secondary School environment.
* Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge as a Maths Teacher.
* Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of a team.
