Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Trade/Distribution Manager to continue to build and develop trade relationships With a competitive package and scope for growth this is a great opportunity for an experienced racking individual or related industry sales, admin or customer service focused professional seeking a new and exciting challenge. Responsibilities Building on existing trade/distribution relationships within the racking & storage sector Managing a large number of incoming enquiries by prioritizing the workload effectively Read autoCAD drawings Provide quotes and process incoming orders, liaise with the factory, arrange deliveries and deal with any issues Managing an existing client base of racking trade accounts across the UK Provide strong technical support to distributors seeking to buy a variety of racking, shelving and storage products Develop weekly, monthly and annual sales plans and forecasts Requirements The company ideally require an individual with previous racking experience, though individuals with a strong technical understanding may also be considered. Racking & storage experience is by no means essential and our client are open minded to individuals from other backgrounds either from trade/distribution sales, admin or customer service. You will, however be highly resilient and proactive in your approach and enjoy the sales process. Experience of reading CAD is preferred but not essential though a background in selling a technical product or service would be highly advantageous.
