Salary: £34,611 – £39,372
Location: Agile, Fourth Banks one day a week and homeworking. Please be advised this may change to two days a week depending on changes to Force policy.

The role

This could be the perfect time for you to join us in our Workforce Planning & Insights Department as a Workforce Capability Adviser.
As our Workforce Capability Adviser, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the right people have the right skills at the right time, helping the organisation succeed now and in the future. You’ll work closely with business leads and stakeholders to identify learning and development needs across allocated areas and support the planning and delivery of training that builds capability across the force.
What you’ll do
1. Lead training needs analysis for allocated areas, identifying skills gaps, risks, and future capability requirements
2. Develop and manage service delivery plans, ensuring effective use of resources, budgets, and alignment with organisational priorities
3. Provide expert advice to senior leaders, using data and insights to support strategic decisions, succession planning, and risk management
4. Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver learning solutions, manage supplier relationships, and support continuous improvement
5. Produce and manage accurate workforce data to support planning, reporting, compliance, and long-term capability development
