About the Role
As the Resort Safety Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our guests' experiences. Your mission? To ensure our team is perfectly aligned and ready to make a positive impact in our venues while building strong relationships with our guests.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Supporting team members during shifts to manage workloads effectively.
* Providing feedback to Resort Safety Managers on areas for improvement based on guest feedback.
* Conducting individual appraisals and coaching team members to foster a highly trained and fulfilled workforce.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including Fire, SIA, Licensing, and health & safety policies.
* Driving team selection, recruitment, and retention with a focus on wellbeing.
At Butlin’s, no two days are the same! You’ll need to think on your feet, dive into tasks, and keep our guest experience as your top priority. This role primarily involves night shifts, with occasional daytime work for training and recruitment. Flexibility is key, as you’ll be working a 5-day week over 7 days.
About You
We’re on the lookout for an experienced leader from a security or safety background who can inspire the team to deliver exceptional service. Your guest-first mentality will shine through as you train and coach your team in a fun-filled environment.
Key qualifications include:
* Proven experience in leading teams within a busy security or safety setting.
* Confidence to direct and respond effectively in any situation while maintaining brand standards.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even during peak times.
* Strong multitasking skills and adaptability to changing requirements.
To succeed in this role, you must hold an SIA (Door Supervision) license, Level 2 Door Supervision Qualification, and a First Aid Qualification. A driving license is preferred, or you should be willing to obtain one within an agreed timeframe.
