Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Marketing Officer: Events and Publications to join our vibrant Marketing and Communications team. This is your chance to make a lasting impact, delivering high-profile events that inspire and publications that tell the Exeter College story.


What you’ll be doing

* Leading the planning and delivery of College-wide events, including graduations, student awards, and building openings.
* Managing logistics, supplier relationships, and event management from concept to completion.
* Producing engaging, on-brand publications such as course guides and recruitment materials.
* Writing and editing content that’s clear, creative and end user-focused.
* Collaborating with colleagues and external partners to deliver projects that inspire pride and engagement.
* Evaluating success and driving continuous improvement across our events and publications.


Who we’re looking for

* You’ll be a confident communicator, creative thinker, and meticulous organiser who can bring fresh ideas to every project. Whether you’re designing an event plan or refining a publication layout, you’ll ensure every detail reflects the College’s reputation for excellence.
* You’ll bring:
o A degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Events or a related field.
o Proven experience delivering successful events and producing marketing or publication content.
o Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills.
o Strong project management and organisational abilities.
o A proactive, collaborative approach and a flair for creativity.
