MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Production Manager for a leading advanced manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly automated, fast-paced manufacturing environment supplying complex components to global customers.
You will:
* Lead daily production activities and ensure operational targets are achieved.
* Coordinate with engineering, quality and planning teams to maximise performance.
* Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety and 5S standards.
* Support employee training, development and performance management.
* Assist with production planning, material control and stock management.
* Deputise for the Manufacturing Manager when required.
You will have:
* Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, Shift Manager or similar role within a heavy manufacturing setting.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational abilities.
* Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
