About the role
We’re looking for a Treasury Assistant to help keep our financial operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you’ll manage the daily reconciliation of all company bank accounts, support cash flow management, and maintain effective banking relationships. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to reconcile payments and transactions, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls every step of the way. What you’ll do
* Conduct daily reconciliations of all company bank accounts to ensure transaction accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
* Monitor the daily cash deposit processes, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of any issues that arise.
* Support the business’ banking relationships as required, particularly with Barclays, to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
* Assist in the improvements of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, focusing on automating and improving the efficiency of banking reconciliation processes.
* Support the setting up of banking processes for new sites.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements regarding banking processes.
* Support audits and provide documentation as required.
* Support the Head of Treasury in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the banking area.
* Assist in preparing treasury and liquidity reports and providing data analysis to support decision‑making.
* Handle ad‑hoc banking queries and tasks as directed by management.

What we are looking for:
* Experience in banking reconciliation or a similar financial role, ideally within a retail or multi‑site environment.
* Strong understanding of cash and banking processes, with keen attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial systems.
* Good to have Experience of Microsoft D365 ERP or AAT level 3
