We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to deliver a consistent and high-quality service in line with company standards and contract specifications. The role requires full compliance with company policies and statutory regulations, including safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire safety, and COSHH. A key focus will be ensuring client satisfaction through maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
1. Plan, schedule, and deliver all operational, planned, and reactive activities in line with statutory requirements, maintenance specifications, and SLA response times.
2. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company/client procedures, and governing body standards.
3. Escalate issues to the Facilities Manager in line with agreed escalation processes.
4. Build a strong understanding of client objectives and support their delivery.
5. Assist in developing operational procedures, emergency plans, and contingency measures to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
6. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment by applying 5S and LEAN principles, actively engaging in Sodexo initiatives and communications.
Qualifications and skills:
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with others
* Good interpersonal and communication skills with customers, clients, and colleagues
* Flexible and adaptable approach to the role
Working hours and pay:
* 5 days out of 7
* 35 hours per week
* 07:00 am till 2:00 pm
* £12.70 per hour
