We're working with a leading manufacturing business in Mansfield seeking a motivated support engineer to provide day-to-day IT assistance to staff across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, and in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Provide support for Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and business applications. Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets in Active Directory. Escalate more complex issues to 2nd/3rd Line or external vendors where required. Maintain accurate records of incidents and solutions using the ticketing system. Assist with IT equipment audits, patching, and system maintenance. What You'll Bring Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role (1st Line). Good knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory). Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work on-site full time in Mansfield. A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn new skills. Benefits Salary up to £28,000 (DOE).
