Sous Chef – New York Bistro

Join to apply for the Sous Chef role at Hyatt Regency. The restaurant is located at Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars.


Responsibilities

* Supporting the Head Chef – New York Bistro and the Hotel Executive Chef in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
* Running shifts in the absence of the head chef.
* Training, coaching, motivating and developing team members.
* Assisting in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
* Ensuring dishes are of a very high standard and in line with company expectations.
* Ensuring hygiene and sanitation are strictly observed in line with hotel HACCP manual and that equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly.

You are a passionate and experienced chef who thrives in dynamic kitchen environments and enjoys leading by example. You take pride in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining strict hygiene standards. With a collaborative spirit, you support and develop your team to achieve excellence.
