About the Role
The External Fee Rates Supervisor reports to the e-Billing and Rates Manager. Primary responsibilities include:
* Supervising and taking full responsibility of the Fee Rates Advisors in the below duties
* Taking ownership of the data collection project and ensuring all non-standard charge out rates and discounts are correctly recorded in our systems (Libra) and maintained on an ongoing basis. This includes agreed Fee Arrangements approved by the Fee Committee and LOMP's
* Transfer of the existing "Billing Rules" into "Rate Sets" on Libra by following the current system process flow ensuring consistency on how rules are recorded and processed across the group
* Maintaining and managing the External Fee Rates process from start to finish, reviewing and implementing improvements of this process
* Ongoing review of the agreed rates in order to ensure that the agreed terms are adhered to
* Collaboration with the e-billing team and financial controllers to ensure that all clients are billed out at the agreed rates
* Advise the Fee Committee on global discount requests by providing supporting material in order for them to make an informed decision on agreeing/rejecting the proposed discounts globally
* Ensure all necessary stakeholders are informed of any new agreed fees
* Support Fee Earners in generating new or renewal documents for client discounts via the agreed Fee Committee
* Taking ownership of the Fee Rates review process, identifying improvements, leading on educating the business and holding all accountable for their roles within the process
* Line management of the team members including objective setting and performance management
