What You’ll Do
* Manage the delivery of all aspects of Sainsbury’s Brand product and technical plans for your assigned product area.
* Ensure products meet safety, legal, and quality standards, maintaining brand reputation.
* Set quality standards, investigate product issues, and implement complaints reduction action plans.
* Drive technical innovation to enhance product quality, sustainability and supply chain effectiveness.
* Lead supplier management, project delivery, and technical excellence initiatives within the category team.
Who You Are
Seasoned professional with a strong scientific background and extensive experience in technical and manufacturing roles within retail or supply chain. Proven ability to deliver results, influence stakeholders, and lead complex technical projects.
Essential Criteria
* Degree in food safety, food science, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in supply management and supplier engagement.
* Evidence of delivering technical innovation projects, showcasing ability to drive improvements and implement new solutions.
