We are looking for a Corporate Solicitor to join a small team of commercial lawyers, advising clients from across the firm’s client base in relation to a range of corporate finance and corporate governance related matters. The successful candidate will have exposure to the firm’s wide and diverse client base, all of which require mainstream corporate law services. Key Competences: A good grounding in corporate finance and corporate governance and a track record of handling a varied and challenging caseload is essential. Experience of advising on a range of corporate finance and corporate governance related matters is essential, including sales and purchase, shares and governance. Knowledge of the following is not essential, but would be advantageous: Understanding of corporate insolvency and of financial services regulatory issues is desirable but not essential. Experience of advising on debt finance related matters is desirable but not essential. Experience of working with a number of different legal structures in addition to companies limited by shares CLGs, LLPs and partnerships, CICs, co-operatives and CBSs, is desirable but not essential. An understanding of trusts law would be advantageous. This role would suit a solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE, but the workload can be tailored to the level of experience dependent on the successful candidate.
