Your Role: What Will You Be Doing?
As a Peer Support Worker, you will provide exceptional support and interventions to clients with mental health needs who require early intervention and prevention. Your mission will be to:
* Support clients throughout their journey in our service.
* Empower them with the skills to cope independently.
* Deliver support and interventions aligned with our organizational values and the ethos of recovery and co-production.

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
* Have lived experience of mental health care pathways, including emergency department attendance and community mental health services.
* Understand the challenges faced by individuals with diverse mental health conditions.
* Communicate effectively while providing compassionate and respectful support.
* Build and maintain trusting relationships with service users, carers, peer workers, and professionals.
* Possess excellent listening and verbal communication skills to engage with individuals in crisis.
* Have knowledge of local mental health recovery tools and support services.
* Assess needs, risks, and aspirations, providing accurate and empathetic signposting to appropriate services.
