Utilising your technical knowledge and experience you will be required to assist customers and less-technical colleagues to identify the right products for the application and assist with design and specification. The Responsibilities include: * Respond to and support customer requirements via phone and email * Proactively follow up sales opportunities and leads via phone and email * Respond to new sales enquiries, customers and referrals from suppliers * Maintain a friendly and helpful service to our trade customers * Build relationships with customers and suppliers * Assist customers and colleagues to identify the correct products for the application * Assist with design and specification of sound, lighting and video systems * Increase sales revenue where possible by up-selling as appropriate * Support customer after-sales enquiries in liaison with customer service department * Assist sales administration functions as appropriate * Focus on both individual and company sales targets * Visit customer and suppliers as necessary from time to time * Attend on and off-site training from time to time to support and develop role About You * A good basic level of education (i.e. schooling / further education) * Strong degree of knowledge of audio, lighting and / or visual products preferably (but not essentially) in commercial applications * Technical experience and preferably qualifications in the field of audio, lighting and visual products
