Job Description

Join TNS as an Application Support Analyst to provide technical support and engineering for our Payment Orchestration gateway platform. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team, supporting a growing Payments Processing business.


Responsibilities

1. Support the new Orchestration payment gateway within an AWS environment.
2. Manage production payments application gateway across multiple regions.
3. Resolve incident tickets and support Major Incidents with root cause analysis.
4. Participate in Release and Change Management activities.
5. Support the Problem Management process.
6. Maintain application and database systems, including MariaDB, Aurora, DynamoDB, and MySQL.
7. Become an expert on supported systems and services.
8. Support security and cryptography services.
9. Create work instructions and update documentation.
10. Assist in maintaining PCI DSS Compliance.
11. Support Disaster Recovery activities.
12. Participate in 24/7 on-call rota.
13. Collaborate with teams, sharing knowledge and supporting team members.
14. Provide training and ongoing support to support teams.


Qualifications


Essential

* Experience with Linux-based systems.
* Experience working within an AWS environment.
* Knowledge of SQL administration and support, including setting up maintenance tasks and executing queries.
* Strong problem-solving skills.


Desirable

* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio in AWS.
* Supporting Java applications.
* Experience with payments systems and switches.
* Knowledge of ITIL framework.
