About You
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a strong track record in delivering well-executed and impactful events. With excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in managing every stage of the event process with precision.
What You Will Do As An Events Executive
* Manage group bedroom blocks, including setting up blocks, managing rooming lists, release dates and special client requirements
* Liaise with clients to finalise all group-related details, including payment terms, billing arrangements and any additional services
* Ensure all contracted deposits and prepayments are received in line with hotel policy and communicated clearly to internal stakeholders
* Maintain accurate group booking information in the Opera system
* Attend and contribute to the weekly Events & Groups Operational Meetings, communicating key updates across all relevant departments
* Conduct site visits and client show rounds as required
* Host pre- and post-event or group meetings to ensure delivery of client expectations
* Keep up to date with competitor activity and market trends, contributing to business development and upselling opportunities where possible
* Collaborate with the wider Sales & Events team
* Skills required
* Previous experience within Events and Sales in a similar environment/property is essential
* Strong knowledge of Events and Sales process
* Driven/competitive individual who thrives on achieving of their targets
* Excellent communication skills
* Customer-focused
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* IT skills, with a preference for knowledge of Opera
* Impeccable attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills required
* Effectively manage time ensuring the completion of all pre-set tasks on a daily basis.
