Truck Instructor
Location: SK22
Hours: MondayThursday 7:30 am4:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am11:30 am (38 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £14.99 per hour
About the Role:
Were looking for a qualified and proactive Truck Instructor to join our team. Youll be responsible for delivering high-quality theory and practical training across all company truck types, ensuring our operators work safely, efficiently, and in line with the latest regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver and oversee theory and practical truck training across all company truck categories: A1, A2, A5, A6, A7, B1, D2, and P1.
* Conduct all new starter and refresher training sessions.
* Audit, monitor, and maintain the quality and consistency of all truck training.
* Keep up to date with Health & Safety (H&S) legislation and any changes affecting truck operations or training.
* Regularly review and update company truck documents and training records.
* Ensure full compliance with AITT and RTITB standards.
* Work closely with the Training Department to ensure all staff are trained to a consistently high standard.
* Uphold company values and promote a positive safety culture at all times.
Health & Safety Compliance:
* Monitor truck operators performance to ensure safe working standards are maintained.
* Ensure daily truck checks are completed and documented accurately.
* Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all training and truck equipment.
Requirements:
* Must be a registered AITT and RTITB Instructor.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work nights and shift patterns when required to support training needs.
* Commitment to staying current with H&S guidance (including regular checks of the Mentor website).
* Ability to ensure refresher training is completed accurately and on time.
* A proactive approach to maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-trained workforce.
