SEN Teacher - Flexible, Focused, and Impactful
Location: Huntingdon and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Term-Time Only
Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)
Specialism: One-to-One Teaching | SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and Medical Needs
About the Role
Are you a qualified teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in a more flexible, student-focused setting? We're seeking SEN Teachers passionate about delivering personalised education to learners with complex needs. This is a unique opportunity to work one-to-one with students who benefit from a tailored, compassionate approach to learning.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Plan and deliver bespoke lessons in Maths, English, and Science
2. Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and emotional needs
3. Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
4. Build strong relationships with students and their families
5. Encourage independence, resilience, and academic confidence
What You'll Need
1. QTS or equivalent (PGCE)
2. Minimum 2 years' teaching experience
3. Experience teaching across Key Stages 1-4
4. Strong subject knowledge in core curriculum areas
5. Background in supporting students with SEN and SEMH
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
7. Legal right to work in the UK
8. Solid understanding of safeguarding practices
