About The Role
Your new role at Barnet Grange Care Home as Maintenance Person is ready for you to take charge of. The home is looking for a team member like you to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services applying basic fixes to equipment and systems and ensuring facilities are fully functional.
You will love general maintenance tasks and basic repairs including electrical, plumbing, joinery and building tasks and decorating rooms to maintain the standards of the home. This is a special role because it gives you the chance to make a difference to our residents lives every day. From helping residents hang pictures in their rooms, moving furniture, collecting prescriptions or driving the minibus, this is a role where you can demonstrate your natural values of being Proud, Supportive and Caring.

About You
To join us a Maintenance Person, it is essential that you have at least one years’ experience in a general maintenance position and that you can demonstrate a wide range knowledge of traditional building trades. You need to hold a full driving license too. You are a naturally caring character that always puts people first, shows kindness, warmth, compassion and respect at all times, and loves to embrace life to make it meaningful for yourself and those in your care.
You love working as part of a wider team and being supportive to your colleagues as well as your residents and their families.
