National Field Sales Manager – Automotive / Industrial
We are seeking a Senior Sales Leader to accelerate sales performance within a cross‑functional field sales team for an organization proactive in multi‑channel supply routes across Industrial, MRO, Engineering, and Automotive aftermarket trade distribution channels.
Career trajectory opportunity: This role offers a genuine career path into a GSM/Sales Director remit based on performance. You will steer sales activity across multi‑functional channels, gaining insight into all facets of the markets they serve and future growth potential.
Location & Compensation: Ideal location (Central / South) with salary range circa £60k‑75k (OTE) plus bonus, company car, and pension.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience as a senior field‑based sales manager or in a highly sales‑driven environment, ideally in Industrial MRO, Engineering, or Automotive spaces.
* Structured sales leader with a passion for hitting targets and delivering results through the sales team.
* Proven track record in sales management and sales delivery.
* Experience mentoring and improving individual performance, working toward a sales plan.
* Strong sales skills and key account management abilities, able to influence decision‑makers.
* High IT literacy, especially in presentation packages and analytical capabilities via Microsoft Excel.
* Professional outlook, maintaining personal integrity with customers and stakeholders.
* Highly organized with a solid work ethic, approaching tasks tenaciously.
* Flexible to travel and overnight as required.
* Professional appearance, punctual, and capable of creating excellent first impressions.
