Duties and responsibilities related to the Director of Sales & Marketing role ? · To develop new and existing business with travel agents/consortia business/hotel booking agents in conjunction with the DOSM. · To develop and establish connections with the Hyatt Sales Force (HSF) & Area sales teams in order to solidify strong working relationships. · To prepare, plan and conduct overseas Sales and Marketing trips when and where necessary. · To develop Sales and Marketing plans and strategies, forecasting and managerial reports. · Exchange lead and industry information where and when necessary to sister hotels. · Conduct Sales and Marketing meetings and attend executive meetings. · Conduct in-house site inspections and presentations when necessary. · Prepare weekly Sales and Marketing activity reports for the General Manager · Gather market intelligence on competitor hotels and industry related information. · Attending Trade Shows/Meetings or events to represent Hyatt where necessary. · Investigate new market segments for potential new business. · Support Sales Managers / Executives with direction, joint calls etc. to assist them to achieve their goals. About You You must have full right to work in the UK and bring proven experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing within the hospitality sector, ideally in an upscale or premium environment. With a strong background across MICE, Corporate, and Social segments, you demonstrate the commercial acumen needed to drive revenue, strengthen market positioning, and build long term client relationships. You are an accomplished leader with a track record of guiding high performing Sales, Marketing, and Events teams. Your approach is strategic, data driven, and guest focused, ensuring that every initiative enhances brand visibility and supports the hotel's overall business objectives.
