Counsellor
Salary: £31,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Home based with occasional trips to the Cardiff Head Office.

Are you an empathetic, professional and qualified Counsellor looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by cancer?
Tenovus Cancer Care is looking for a dedicated individual to join their Support Services team on a full-time basis.
As a key member of their Counselling service, you’ll provide vital support to clients affected by cancer. and play an integral part in a team that prides itself on being people-focused and is values-driven.
The counselling sessions are run virtually and you will counsel clients at various points of the cancer journey from diagnosis to end of life on an individual basis.
They are looking for
1. Experience in being a Counsellor with current BACP or equivalent membership
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be an effective Counsellor for people affected by cancer
3. A great team player willing to support the team, be flexible and adapt to the service’s needs, bring ideas to develop the service and give encouragement to colleagues
4. Preferably counselling experience working with people with chronic or life limiting health conditions such as cancer
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS Adult check being carried out.
