Our Role
We're looking for a strategic and dynamic People Parter for our Head Office team, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to shape and influence people-focused decision-making across the business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about shaping culture, driving performance, and making a lasting impact for our teams.
This role blends strategic influence with hands-on responsibility. You'll use data and insights to shape key decisions, lead the Head Office People Partnership team, and act as the escalation point for complex employee relations cases. As a trusted advisor, you'll partner with leaders to deliver our people agenda, ensuring it drives commercial success and reflects The White Company's values and culture.
You'll also play a pivotal role in organisational design, reward strategy, and employee engagement, bringing together our specialist People functions to deliver consistent, effective outcomes. With a strong focus on compliance, best practice, and continuous improvement, you'll ensure our people strategy sets the business up for long-term success.
What you'll be doing
People Partnership
* Build trusted, commercially focused relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and embed the People Team as strategic advisors.
* Develop and lead the people partnership model, driving a collaborative and consistent approach across all People functions.
* Coach and support senior leaders to build high-performing teams aligned with TWC values and culture.
* Partner with People Team managers to deliver our People priorities and business plans.
* Support and drive business actions following our company annual engagement survey
* Ensure delivery of a high-performing people service, raising standards and setting the tone for TWC values and culture.
Insight & Analytics
* Own and deliver people data, metrics, and insights to shape decision-making.
* Produce engaging People Business Plans linking people priorities to business strategy.
* Streamline processes, systems, and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Organisation Design
* Shape and implement organisation design principles and lead regular structural reviews.
* Oversee job evaluation and grading frameworks, ensuring fairness and efficiency.
* Challenge structures and ways of working to optimise effectiveness and cultural alignment.
Employee Relations
* Lead the ER strategy, ensuring fairness, consistency, and best practice.
* Manage senior-level cases and partner with legal advisors as needed.
* Ensure policies are up-to-date with employment law and proactively train leaders in ER excellence.
* Champion a culture of high performance, ensuring robust management of underperformance.
Reward
* Lead the development and delivery of a competitive reward strategy.
* Oversee salary benchmarking, pay reviews, bonus schemes, and benefits.
* Manage RemCo submissions and ensure proposals are underpinned by sound business rationale.
* Regularly review benefits to ensure we remain an employer of choice.
Team Leadership
* Lead and inspire the People Partnership team with a 'one team' mindset.
* Coach, develop, and engage team members to drive high performance and collaboration.
* Set clear expectations for behaviours and ways of working, fostering a secure, fun, and productive culture.
What skills & experience you'll need

* Being great with systems – definitely Microsoft Office but it would be a definite advantage to have the ability to quickly grasp new and innovative solutions

* Creating an external network to support your own ongoing development and growth and to understand the external market
