We are looking for a highly motivated professional nurse to undertake the role of Matron. You will have an extensive skill set in nursing management and leadership and be an effective communicator. You will be a positive role model and hold responsibility to support the developments of Clinical Governance and Service Improvement, modernise patient services and ensure the active involvement of patients and carers in the way services are developed, delivered and evaluated. The post is critical in ensuring safe, quality patient care and experience is provided by the clinical teams and the health and wellbeing of staff remains high on the agenda.

Role details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time band 8a Matron post for the Integrated Sexual Health and HIV service. The speciality has a strong reputation for training and innovation, and the multidisciplinary team work closely together to ensure patients receive the best possible care and outcome. This role will work alongside other Matrons within the Family Health Care Group. Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

* Disclosure and Barring Service: Your post may be subject to a DBS check which incurs a cost dependent on the level of check required (£49.50 for enhanced and £21.50 for standard). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a DBS check if it is required (by deduction from first month's pay).
