The Cyber Technologist (CT) role is a customer focused role. CTs provide technical and cyber defense expertise to post-sales customer accounts, working together with our Customer Success Managers and Account Executives. The CT has ownership of the deployment health of customer accounts and of helping customers maximise the technical value of their deployment. CTs will actively respond to technical customer enquiries, enabling rapid technical advice concerning Darktrace products and the customer's understanding of their own security environment. The CT will architect and deliver Proof of Values (POVs) of additional Darktrace products for participating post-sale customers, ensuring full technical validation in the sales process. CTs also liaise directly with the cyber analyst team along with the wider technical team for knowledge sharing and response action. Responsibilities: Act as a technical resource for clients, partners, and other business units within Darktrace. Be the trusted adviser and technical authority to the customer for architecture and integration decisions. Providing technical support to customer queries raised via the Darktrace Customer Portal platform. Provide feedback and technical reporting on accounts to Darktrace management. Design and build custom client integrations and define solution architectures. Being accountable for the delivery of Proof of Value engagement when an existing customer trials an additional product. Develop customer understanding of the software while enhancing customer mastery of the wider Darktrace platform. Ensure customers' deployments are operating at an optimal level. Requirements: Fluency in English and Dutch is essential Experience and proven ability to work autonomously and in a team in an innovative and fast-paced environment whilst delivering to deadlines (essential) Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written (essential) Enthusiasm for innovation, experimentation and self-development in the cyber security field (essential) Relevant industry experience, in either a networking or security discipline (desirable) Experience with customer-facing activities (pre-/post-sales), as well as security and network consulting (desirable) Experience communicating with both technical and senior management (desirable) Practical experience with network and security devices/systems, e.g. Cisco, Juniper, firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM (desirable) Knowledge of the TCP/IP and common networking protocols (desirable) Understanding of common cyber security vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques (desirable) Benefits we offer: 23 days paid holiday, increasing to 25 days after two years' service plus UK bank holidays.
