Receptionist
Bournemouth Hospital | Customer Service | Permanent Contract | Part-Time
£24,043.50 per annum (pro rata)
22.5 hours per week
Shift Work: 3 days a week, with shifts from 0700-1500, 1300-2100; Saturdays 0700-1700; Sundays 0900-1400. Working 1:4 weekends, including bank holidays.

As a Receptionist at our Hospital, you should have excellent communication, IT, and keyboard skills. You’ll need to explain sensitive or complex information clearly, sympathetically, and understandably. Experience in healthcare administration or reception is preferred.
As a Receptionist, your responsibilities include:
* Making visitors feel comfortable upon arrival
* Using empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships
* Answering phones, handling inquiries, and booking appointments
* Welcoming patients in person and directing them to appropriate areas
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth department operations
* Preparing clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions
