Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Technician to join a dedicated team delivering, installing, and maintaining essential telecare and community equipment. This is a mobile, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, being out on the road, and making a meaningful impact in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and collect equipment to and from service users in a safe and professional manner
Install, repair, and replace equipment using appropriate tools and safety procedures
Carry out routine servicing, battery replacements, and safety checks
Respond to emergency call-outs as part of an on-call rota
Maintain the company van, including cleanliness, mileage logs, and fuel usage
Use handheld scanners to track equipment, collect signatures, and report issues
Support stock checks and manage tools and equipment responsibly
Candidate Profile
Skills and Attributes:
Strong communication skills and a caring, professional attitude
Good DIY, mechanical, or technical aptitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confident navigating routes and reading maps
Flexible, reliable, and motivated approachExperience and Knowledge:
Experience driving vans and interacting with the public
Previous experience in field service, maintenance, or installation roles (preferred)Qualifications:
GCSE-level education or equivalent (preferred)
Full UK driving licence (required)
