Overview
BANK Catering Assistant (£12.60 per hour) - plus attractive enhancements for weekend/bank holiday work. We are looking for a BANK Catering Assistant to work in the Main Kitchen as part of the friendly Facilities team at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital. The team provide the meals for inpatients, as well as sandwiches and snacks for the restaurant for staff and members of the public. The core operational hours for the kitchen are 07.30 - 18.30, 7 days a week. This will be an early or late shift on a bank basis, with shifts arranged according to when additional cover is required.
Early Shift - 07.30 - 15.30
Late Shift - 10.30 - 18.30
Responsibilities
* Regenerating prepared meals
* Cold food preparation
* Cleaning and washing up
* Receiving and storing deliveries
* Assisting with the compliance of all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCPs), food safety policies, procedures, allergens and current legislation
Requirements / Qualifications
* Catering experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
* Food Hygiene Training is compulsory for these roles and will be provided
* Enthusiastic, friendly, willing to learn and flexible to cover additional shifts when necessary
* The role is a bank position; shifts will be arranged to cover additional cover requirements
