NPI Operational Procurement & Logistics Engineer
Job Description
You will be part of the Operational Materials Management (OMM) function in our factory located in Best. It is one of the main Operations sites for Health Systems within Philips worldwide. Our organization is driving operational excellence and manufactures, refurbishes, repairs, and ships our medical devices & components in a safe, compliant, and effective manner. The OMM function is also responsible for the preparation and introduction of New Product Introductions (NPI) into the Supply Chain, changes on products/components/production processes for released products, and receiving and implementing manufacturing transfers from Industrialization engineering. Your role:
1. Define, lead, and execute supply chain activities for NPI projects and manufacturing transfers.
2. Manage relationships with (Commercial) Organizations, Business groups, manufacturing teams, and suppliers from an end-to-end supply chain perspective.
3. Develop Phase-in/Phase-out plans from an integrated supply chain perspective, aligned with Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) and Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP) processes.
4. Execute supply chain engineering, operational procurement, and MPS planning activities during projects.
5. Implement and maintain master data in SAP to enable correct rule-based planning and purchasing, including optimized material replenishment.
6. Ensure the service level, inventory, and scrap risk of the phase-in/phase-out meet set targets.
7. Advise OMM manager on Go/No-Go decisions regarding Product Development, Launch, and Maintenance milestones.
8. Ensure these processes meet Medical Device & Trade Compliance Regulations.
You're the right fit if:
* You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or International Business Administration.
* You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cross-functional operations role within a dynamic international environment.
* Preferred experience in engineering change control and Sales & Operations Planning.
* Experience in inventory controls and management.
* Strong proficiency in MS Excel, SAP (PP/MM), and analytical tools like Every Angle.
* Characteristics include being customer-focused, persistent, assertive, precise, hands-on, empathetic, capable of building bridges, with strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills.
* Experience in the medical device or high-tech machine-building industry is a strong advantage.
