Can you confidently manage teams, workflows, and budgets while maintaining high safety and quality standards?This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced creative production environment as a Scenic Workshop Manager, taking ownership of workshop performance and delivering high-quality scenic builds across a range of live and experiential projects.The roleYou will lead a large, multi-disciplinary workshop team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Working closely with production teams, you will translate design ideas into buildable solutions while maintaining smooth day-to-day workshop operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage workshop staff and freelancers, setting clear expectations and maintaining performancePlan resources, workflows, and schedules across multiple concurrent projectsOversee scenic construction from concept through to completionReview technical drawings and ensure buildability and accuracyMonitor budgets, materials, and labour to maintain strong commercial performanceMaintain high build standards with low error ratesBuild a collaborative, accountable, and safety-first team cultureEnsure full compliance with UK Health & Safety regulations and RAMSSupport training, mentoring, and development across the workshop teamAct as the main link between workshop and production teams, ensuring clear communicationAbout our companyYou will be joining a fast-paced and creative production environment known for delivering ambitious and technically challenging projects.
