Job Description:
What you’ll do
Ashfords Trusts and Estates team is seeking to recruit an Associate (ideally with at least 4 years PQE) based in either our Exeter or Bristol office on a full-time and permanent basis.
Our busy and well-respected Trusts and Estates team is known for working with families over many generations, managing their national and international assets to create strategic and practical solutions to their issues.
The team advises on wills and succession planning, trusts, probate, estate administration, tax, tax risk management, and the structuring of art, heritage, cultural, or other unique assets, along with wealth preservation more generally.
Our clients are often high net worth individuals, business owners, executors, trustees, farmers, and landowners, providing a varied caseload working for different clients.
From the outset, you can expect exposure to high-quality work and significant responsibility.
Who you are
You are ambitious, self-motivated, and experienced within a successful Private Wealth team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, lasting client relationships are essential.
You should have enthusiasm for client contact, networking, and business development, with confidence in generating new business connections.
Resilience, the ability to work under pressure, and responsibility for your cases are important qualities. We will support your legal, commercial, and management skills development.
Our team culture is friendly and collaborative, and we value work-life balance and career development tailored to your aspirations.
Our offer
We provide benefits supporting work and personal life, including flexible working, additional leave for birthdays, holiday purchase options, health and wellbeing packages, and involvement in responsible business initiatives.
Full benefits details are available in the attached document.
