We're partnered with a fast-growing UK based Ecommerce retailer, backed by a leading global FMCG group, with a mission to redefine performance nutrition for everyday athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Their innovative sports nutrition brand continues it’s success in their growth journey and they are just getting started.
As they enter our next phase of growth, they are looking for a passionate and commercially savvy eCommerce Manager to take the lead on their DTC strategy. Whilst as a global FMCG Group that’s £3+ billion turnover, this Food & Drink category brand (D2C only) offers a refreshing – blank canvas as the brand gains more relevance. You have group support, but should thrive in a ‘roll your sleeves up’ culture – avoiding the huge teams where you are one of many.
The websites platform is Shopify and as you will take full ownership over Ecommerce/ Web journeys, reporting into the MD, previous experience working on a Shopify platform is essential. Without unfortunately your application is unlikely to be picked up.
Greater Manchester based office (South), hybrid with only 1 or 2 days in the office.
Key responsibilities include:
* Drive the Ecommerce strategy forward, ensuring its usability and customer satisfaction.
* Overseeing all aspects of website performance, customer experience, and sales optimisation to meet business objectives.
* Supporting future web development/ identifying future dev opportunities.
* Analysing and optimising site performance using various data sources including customer data, site metrics, competitor analysis and research – making recommendations to drive performance
* Support in co-ordinating site content and promotional planning.
* Overseeing a comprehensive CRO plan to inform website development and improve metrics – agency support
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
* Must have experience working on a Shopify platform – essential
* Highly analytical and numerate and proficient in excel and Google Analytic
* Proven ability to manage and develop a team, promoting ownership and accountability
* Have a proven track record in driving site optimisation working closely with a senior management team
* Ability to interpret data and use metrics like conversion rates and sales performance to inform decisions
* Ideally experience working closely with wider Digital and SEO teams, gained experience in their digital marketing strategies
