Responsibilities
* Lead Specialist for the Maternity Ultrasound Service, ensuring adequate service provision and planning to meet maternity department demands.
* Be an experienced Midwife who is high profile, accessible and responsive as a leader.
* Ensure the maternity ultrasound team provides an efficient and high-quality imaging service, while caring for patients professionally.
* Lead education, training, governance, policy review and development within the department.
* Make informed decisions within your area of practice and support other midwifery sonographers in delivering a professional ultrasound service.
* Perform and report independently on complex obstetric scans.
