Data Partnership Director: Based anywhere in the UK

Following the CGA acquisition by world-renowned market research experts NielsenIQ in June, ‘CGA by NielsenIQ’ is expanding its capabilities to many new markets for the first time.
Our work helps beer, wine, spirits, and soft drink brands to track essential market trends, benchmark performance, understand their National Account customers, activate brand plans, launch new products, and determine the product range for bars and menus worldwide.
The Opportunity:
We seek a talented individual to play a key role in our global expansion by setting data acquisition strategies and managing both new and existing data partners.
You will manage your own portfolio of prospects and existing partners, mainly hospitality technology businesses such as POS, Order/Pay apps, in-venue technology, and route-to-market players, collaborating with internal teams to maximize success.
You will be responsible for creating and executing multi-market data partnership plans and developing new engagement opportunities.
This role involves skills in account management, product and marketing strategy, commercial positioning, data analysis, and reporting.
You will coordinate with stakeholders, manage multiple partnerships, oversee deliverables, and monitor partnership success.
The Partnership Manager Role:
2. Identify partner opportunities through research and industry campaigns
3. Lead or support engagement processes and collaborate with local teams to grow long-term data partnerships
4. Build trust by understanding partners’ industry, category, and objectives
5. Manage legal documentation and sample data specifications
6. Coordinate Data Ingestion and Data Science efforts to test and assess data scope
7. Complete value-assessment documentation to identify service gaps
8. Support negotiation and contract preparation
9. Assist in reporting data flow into the business
10. Manage key data partner accounts to ensure deliverables are met
11. Seek opportunities to increase engagement and collaboration

12. Quantity and quality of contracted data partners

14. Partner satisfaction and retention

Key Attributes, Skills, and Experiences:
17. Relevant degree and experience in Partnership, Sponsorship, or Marketing roles
18. Strong relationship management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
19. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
20. Proactive, positive, and solutions-oriented mindset
21. Ownership and accountability in operations
22. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
23. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
