Our client, a forward-thinking and fast-growing biotechnology company, is inviting a curious, driven and technically-minded graduate to step into an exciting entry-level opportunity as a Research Engineer. If you’re eager to apply your academic knowledge to real products used in cutting-edge biomedical innovation, this could be your perfect launchpad.

About You

You're ready to take what you've learned, whether from a recent degree or an academic project, and bring it to life in a practical, fast-moving setting. You'll be supported by a tight-knit team as you build on:

* A degree in engineering, physics or a related technical field (2:1 or above)
* A solid understanding of fluid dynamics
* Experience with research or development, whether through an industrial placement, internship or a challenging final-year project
* A desire to build and test, with interest in both physical prototyping and software-based problem-solving


You’ll also have the chance to work with:

* Robotics such as building and programming systems
* C++ or Python to develop your coding and automation skills
* Modern R&D techniques through real-life product development and problem-solving


The Offer

* Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
* Contract: Full-time, permanent
* Location: Primarily on-site with some flexibility for remote work

The Hiring Journey

* First Interview (In Person): 1 hour including a short technical presentation on a past R&D or development project and Facility tour and Q&A
* Second Interview (Virtual): 30-minute discussion with the CEO and a senior team member
