We work in partnership with a number of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatient services with more care being delivered in community settings.
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate ADHD Speciality Grade Psychiatrist to join our specialist ADHD team on a full-time basis. You will play a vital role in the support delivery of the community ADHD service supervised by the consultant specialist team. You will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the assessment, monitoring and follow up of patients with ADHD (and other neurodevelopmental disorders) for Modality LLP. You will maintain and improve standards in relation to neurodevelopmental disorders practice.

Main duties of the job
We are looking to expand our specialist ADHD team by recruiting an experienced Specialty Grade Psychiatrist. Our ADHD team is a multi-professional team whose primary focus is the assessment and treatment of adults presenting with ADHD symptoms, delivering high quality assessments and evidence-based treatment.
The postholder will conduct psychiatric assessments for adults accessing the service and carry out regular medication reviews for a caseload of patients, including monitoring of treatment response and management of complex presentations. The postholder will be required to work closely with the multidisciplinary team whilst also working autonomously, exercising a high level of clinical expertise and professional judgement. Applicants must possess demonstrable expertise in the assessment and management of ADHD and be able to evidence delivery of a similar role.
Our service model is primarily virtual, with patients assessed and managed via video and telephone consultations. A laptop and appropriate mobile working equipment will be provided.

Qualifications
MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
MRCPsych or equivalent.
Eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview.
Commitment to maintaining CPD in line with GMC requirements.
Experience
Minimum two years' post-qualification experience in psychiatry.
Demonstrable clinical experience in the assessment and management of ADHD in adults.
Experience of working across disciplines and organisational boundaries.
Evidence of involvement in service innovation or development of new clinical practices.
Experience of delivering education to patients and/or healthcare professionals.
