 
        Role Overview We are seeking patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable Teaching Assistants to work within our partner primary schools. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, assist pupils with their learning and development, and provide additional care and guidance as needed. This role may involve supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, and candidates may be required to administer personal care as part of their duties. For the right person, this position could develop into a long-term or permanent role within one of our partner schools. Key Responsibilities * Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences. * Assist individual pupils and small groups with their learning and development. * Provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs, including SEN and behavioural challenges. * Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and engagement across the classroom. * Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where pupils feel valued. * Help prepare learning materials and maintain an organised classroom. * Supervise pupils during break, lunchtime, and transitions where required. * Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff. * Administer personal care where required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. * Uphold Applebough Education’s values of compassion, integrity, and excellence. Qualifications and Experience * Experience working with children in a primary school or educational setting (essential). * Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable). * Experience supporting pupils with SEN or physical disabilities (advantageous). * Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive education practices.
